Dover (DE) Central Middle
School
Stage Rigging,
Draperies, Performance Lighting, Sound, Video, and Acoustic Design
Scheu
Consulting Services is providing the designs and
specifications for the Stage Rigging, Draperies, Performance Lighting, Sound,
and Video systems, as well as Acoustical Consulting for the Dover Central Middle
School Auditorium Renovation and Gymnasium Addition.
Lead
by ABHA Architects of Wilmington, DE for the Capitol School District of Dover, DE the 1,000+ seat theater
(the largest in the city of Dover) is being renovated and fully outfitted to be
a modern, flexible performing arts venue. Not only designed for the schools
use, the auditorium will attract community uses as well, as had the original
auditorium when it was first built in the 1960’s.
The
theatrical systems include motorized and dead hung stage rigging systems, 144
stage lighting dimmers with DMX512 and Ethernet control, moving light
fixtures, an orche4stra shell, pit filler system, complete performance sound
and video systems, and backstage intercom and monitor systems.
We
are also pleased to be again to be working with our associates at TSG Design Solutions in developing the
acoustics, lighting, sound, and video portions of this project.
The
project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2009.
